Last chance to enrol
With the electoral roll closing at 6.00 pm on Wednesday 30 May, Electoral Commissioner David Kerslake has urged Darling Range residents to check their electoral enrolment.
“If you have just turned 18 or recently moved into the Darling Range district, you have only until 6.00 p.m. on Wednesday to ensure that your enrolment is up to date”, Mr. Kerslake said.
Electors can enrol or update their address details online at www.elections.wa.gov.au
Forms are also available at local post offices but completed forms must be received by the above deadline. Anyone needing assistance should call the by-election helpline 13 63 06.
Mr. Kerslake also reminded prospective candidates that nominations are now open and close on Friday 1 June.
Election Day is Saturday 23 June.
