Progressive counting at the WAEC Count Centre
Indicative counting of Legislative Assembly declaration votes and ballot papers (early and declaration) will continue at the Count Centre over the next week from Monday, 13 March 2017.
The counting of Legislative Assembly votes will operate across 20 counting tables on a daily basis, and counting will commence at about 9.30am each day. The number of counting tables and hours of operation may vary depending on the availability of ballot papers.
Arrangements for the conduct of the full distribution of preferences count for each district will be made once all admissible ballot papers are available. Postal votes mailed by 6.00pm on polling day can be accepted until 9.00am Thursday, 16 March 2017. Early votes from overseas, interstate and some intrastate locations also still need to be returned for inclusion in the full distribution count.
The processing and counting of Legislative Council ballot papers will commence on Monday, 13 March 2017 at 5.30pm. Each of the six regions are counted separately at the same time
