Specially designed for regional and remote schools who can’t visit the Electoral Education Centre (EEC), the ballot box loan program is a free service that provides teachers with a set of resources to bring the EEC experience into the classroom, anywhere in the State.
The EEC will send out a complete classroom kit containing:
- lesson plans
- ballot paper templates
- the equipment you need for conducting your own mock elections.
Afterwards, teachers simply send the kit back to the EEC.
Any school can request a kit by contacting the EEC.
